When designing and creating new styles, no clay goes to waste. Every ounce gets re-worked into a new pair and thats what gives some styles their beautiful marbled effect.

What if a pair breaks? Just get in touch with us via email, or alternatively, through our website and you can have your broken clay restored into an all new piece of wearable art.

KRAFT PAPER

Like standard paper, kraft paper is created from wood pulp. However kraft often includes pine and bamboo, which have a quicker growth process and are more environmentally sustainable.

Unlike standard paper and card, kraft cuts out the nasty bleach. Within its chemical construction processes, the main byproducts turpentine and tall oil can be re-used in other manufacturing processes.

We are proud to say our K A H L O paper and packaging is fully recyclable. 

KEEPING IT LOCAL

We are a small boutique that makes quality, hand-crafted earrings in Island Bay, Wellington. We try our best to support other local businesses and keep our revenue within our shores. This is why all our metals are sourced from New Zealand suppliers and manufacturers.

MARKET DISPLAY

As you will see, we use eco-friendly structures to display our earrings at market days. Our display table is constructed from new and recycled wood rather than plastic; made from natural products for a healthier planet.
